OXXEAN Chacabuco Port

OXXEAN Chacabuco Port is located in the Aysén Region. It was inaugurated at the end of 2009 and was the first port to be certified as biosecure in Chile. Its important infrastructure offers connectivity services to the entire Aysén Region, as well as transfer-logistics for the salmon industry and other industrial premises located in southern Chile.

• Load transfer activity (salmon feed, nets, smolt and general cargo cabotage).

• Dock 1: Bascule bridge 20 m total length and floating dock 720 m2, with 5 mooring sites.
• Dock 3: Pier 100 m total length with 4 mooring sites.
• Dock 4: Pier 25 m total length with 1 mooring site.
• Concrete landing ramp for barges.
• Waiting room and lounge for local passengers.
• High tonnage cranes.
• 7,000 m2 esplanade for stockpiling general cargo.
• 3,500 m2 North esplanade (port operations yard).
